Core commands
Quick Add, Quick Find, create, edit and delete each have selectable alternatives in Settings.
Keyboard-first todo app
Argon is built around selection, search and creation from the keyboard. The core shortcuts are remappable, and an optional Vim mode adds home-row navigation and two-key commands.
Core defaults
These shortcuts come directly from Argon's current keybind settings.
Command is shown for macOS. Argon's “Primary” modifier maps to Control on Windows and Linux when those desktop apps become available. System-wide Quick Add currently requires the macOS desktop app.
Optional Vim mode
Vim mode is off by default. Turn it on if these commands already feel familiar.
Remapping
Quick Add, Quick Find, create, edit and delete each have selectable alternatives in Settings.
Every Vim action can be changed, including the two-stroke commands, or individually turned off.
Plain-key shortcuts are ignored while you are typing into editable fields, so navigation does not eat your notes.
A practical loop
The full app is free on one device and does not require an account.
Shortcut defaults checked against the Argon keybind settings on 28 July 2026.
