Feature comparison
Here, “offline” means you can view and change previously available tasks without an internet connection. Cloud services still require internet for initial setup and sync.

Features and limitations of each app
Argon
Argon uses a local workspace by default. It separates dates from deadlines and includes events in the same workspace. It offers more keyboard customisation than Apple Reminders. Argon does not support collaboration. Its integration catalogue is limited.
Things 3
Things 3 is a native app for individual Apple users. It works offline. Sync is included after you buy the relevant apps. There is no browser app, non-Apple app or real-time list sharing.
Todoist
Todoist supports nearly every mainstream platform for personal and team use. Its offline mode syncs changes when you reconnect. An account is required. Higher capacity and team features require subscription plans.
Apple Reminders
Apple Reminders supports tags, Smart Lists, subtasks, location alerts, shared lists and Siri capture. Its close integration with Apple devices makes it convenient for Apple users. It is less suitable for people who want a project workspace with extensive keyboard controls across non-Apple platforms.
